Academy Hours

• 8.00 a.m. through to 12.30 p.m.
• • Where Students have Lincoln University commitments; the Academy will support these commitments

Student responsibilites:

• Work on the yard
• • Mucking out paddocks/stables daily
  • Feeding out hay/Hard feed
  • Grooming
  • Tacking up
  • Lunging
  • Cleaning tack
  • Assisting Farrier
  • Assisting Vet
  • Handling Mares/Foals/Youngstock
• Riding
• • Riding Academy horses of all levels
  • Schooling of young horses
• Supporting the senior riders
• • Travelling to shows and grooming
• Supporting the Junior Riders
• • Coaching the junior riders
• Supporting the Academy
• • Hospitality for benefactors
  • Hospitality for sponsors
  • Hospitality for clients
  • Hospitality for all visitors to the Academy
  • Maintenance of property
  • Teaching of clients
